Queso Panela Tacos
Ingredients
1 round La Morenita Queso Panela
Avocado oil, for frying
2-3 teaspoons taco seasoning
Corn tortillas
Salsa verde
1 lime
Crema
Fresh cilantro
Directions
Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Add a generous amount of oil, enough for frying the tacos.
Slice the panela into thick slices (about ¼ inch slices).
Sprinkle each slice with the taco seasoning.
Add one tortilla at a time to the frying pan. Cook one side until warm, then flip.
Add the panela and close up the taco, cooking 2-3 minutes per side until each taco is crispy and golden brown.
Top with the cilantro, salsa verde, crema, and squeeze the juice of the lime.
