Heart-Shaped Quesadillas
Ingredients
1 package Reynaldo's Chorizo, casing removed.
1 tablespoon butter or oil
8 tortillas
2 cups La Morenita’s Queso Quesadilla
Directions
Heat a pan or skillet over medium heat, then add the chorizo. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, crumbling into small pieces.
Meanwhile, cut the tortillas into a heart shape using heart-shaped cookie cutters.
In a separate pan, melt the oil or butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add the tortillas to the pan, then top with a generous amount of La Morenita’s Queso Quesadilla, a bit of the cooked chorizo, and a bit more cheese on top.
Top with another tortilla and let cook, flipping once the cheese is beginning to melt and the bottom of the tortilla is golden brown.
Arrange on a plate with the toppings and sides, then enjoy.
